Robert M Perry was born in Washington, DC on July 7th. He left his love ones on August 31, 2016 at the age of 59 at Malcolm Randall Veterans Medical Hospital in Gainesville, Florida.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth J. Perry , three sons: Robert H.C. Perry, Michaell A. Sallee, and William Darrell Sallee, one daughter, a brother Chester C. Perry , and his niece, cousins, aunts and uncles that are located though out the states mainly Maryland he grew up.
He was 100% disabled American Vet from injuries he suffered from his time in the US Army. He was a very multi fasted person holding jobs in US Army as a Military Policeman, DC First Responder, a Perry Florida Correction officer, and building U.S National Protective Services. He found great enjoyment in reading, playing games on his iPad, studying history and doing Revolutionary War Reenactments.
In his life, because of his different skills, he got to travel the world, doing extraordinary things and was able to meet interesting people along the way like Pat Benatar, Patrick Swazye and Bo Diddley to name a few! He was also in the movie North and South and Glory. He is actually on the cover of Glory if you know where to look!
He will be truly missed by thoughts of us that he has touched on a daily based!
