Yo Rob, God has got you now. Yo Rob, I hope to dive for a ball with you under the REAL LIGHTS of Heaven one day as we howl a Gator Growl. I have a peace over me when I think of You Rob. Something very special about you that always made me feel welcomed. You were a great example of goodwill and the happiness of the moment. I pray we can paddle out in Heaven’s waves of mercy reminiscing about Hogtown and Littlewood Under the Lights, doing donuts in the Mustang and laughing aloud in bliss. You were this and more to many even the ones we don’t know will sure miss you plenty, Sunnyland you gave your all. Patients will miss your drawl. I can hear it now the love you shared lives on. Now He has taken you some may question why. Why must we die and cry and live a lie? The lie is lacking learning replacing tears with joyous cries living Life Eternal where you now reside. Heaven on earth is at hand if the hands will live the Works of Mercy sharing Salvation even I once shared with You. May the Soul of the Faithful departed through the Mercy of God rest in peace. Amen. Love You Rob Childers. One of your greatest fans. Wig AKA Wiggy AKA Santa AKA Tom Cruz
Rob Childers aka"Chili Bean" was one of the nicest guys you could know. He was an awesome surfer, he was a pro at sign language, and had the ability to make people laugh. Rob will not be forgotten, the stories will last forever. God bless you Rob, and your family too. We will miss you. Sincerely, Crebo
Cole and Tom my thoughts and prayers are with both of you and all of Rob’s family. I have so many fond memories growing up with all three of you . You where like brothers through the years. Rob was always so sweet to me and such a gentleman . I loved visiting with your mom and dad on my visits back to Gville and often Rob would be home so we would talk if the past and laugh. You where good brother’s that loved each other. We never get over the loss of our lived one’ but I find with time my great memories help get me through each day. Love you all Lucia

Cole and Tom , My thoughts and prayers are with you guys . Even though my heart is heavy , I can’t help but smile when I think of Rob . I will always cherish growing up with him – playing basketball at Littlewood and Buchholz , surfing Matansas , hanging out together at school , and a thousand other good times that probably don’t need to be mentioned . You guys keep fighting the good fight and don’t hesitate to call on me if you are ever in need . Sincerely , Scott (Pritchdog )
Cole and Tom sorry to hear about your loss. Rob will be truly miss . It was a pleaser to know him and your family. If we can help with any thing let us know. God bless
"Chili Bean" you were a great guy and inspired me to always workout so hard with my fitness you were a "beast" on the bball court in those days. It just seems like yesterday when we worked out so hard on the courts escaping to them and almost living on them at times as we were able to beat some of the U of F starting players when they came to play us on those littlewood bball courts in the 70s, they were not used to how those courts played. It was "our backyard" where so many guys in Gainesville hung out. We were good in our day. I was so shocked to hear of your passing. Tacachale will miss you to. Part of me also leaves with your passage. R.I.P.
