Thomas Reno Castell

Thomas “Tiny” Reno Castell, 70, passed away on July 18, 2017 at home surrounded by loved ones.
Born and raised in Cedar Key, he was the son of Leo and Nellie Mae Castell. Tiny proudly served in the U.S. Navy, in country from 1966 to 1968 on board the USS Belle Grove (LSD-2). Following his military service Tiny worked as a firefighter from 1971 to 1968 with the Gainesville Fire Rescue.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Castell and a son, Tom Castell, his dogs, Brandy & Buster and his 1939 Oldsmobile Street Rod. Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Castell family.

I was blessed to have worked with Tiny for many years at Sta2. He was a great friend and had many laughs. RIP and God had a very good man. Sorry I will miss service out of town.
