Betty J. Wickard, 72, of Old Town, Florida, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Doris Bovie, son, Raymond L. Wickard, brother, Gary Bovie and sister, Elma Bovie. Betty is survived by her husband, Keith Wickard, 2 daughters, Nadine C. Wickard and Calleen S. Wickard-Thorpe, son, William Troy Wickard, all of Old Town. Betty is survived by grandchildren, Chelsey R. Wood, of Old Town, Florida and Vanessa M. Penderson, of Pasco, Florida, Chadwick R. Wickard, of Pasco, Florida and Troy A. Wickard of Pinellas, Florida, and nine great grandchildren. Betty is survived by her sisters, Shirley A. Prater, of Cross City, Florida, Sharon Shultz of Ohio and brother, Bobby Bovie of Ohio. Betty is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

I am still in shock at the sudden death of this beautiful lady. She we be missed by so many especially my brother, Keith. Prayers are being sent.

So very sorry to read of Betty s passing. I truly liked her and enjoyed her great humor and fun attitude. Again, I am truly sorry to just now read of her passing.
