Ronald Robert Folmer, age 72 of Keystone Heights Florida passed away peacefully at Haven Hospice of Gainesville FL on the 18th day of April, 2018.He was born in Mansfield Ohio to Dorthea Folmer and Nick Folmer on the 23rd day of August, 1945. Ron moved to Florida with his wife and two children in 1978. Ron worked at In Home Medical delivering medical equipment for 14 years, he then provided the same services for Haven Hospice of Gainesville FL. Afterward, he started his own business from home, Ron Folmer Consulting. During his final days he was surrounded by abundant love, laughs, and the sharing of the fondest of memories.He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Marty Folmer of Keystone Heights FL,Sister Marilynn Ferguson of Ashland Ohio,Son Jim(Diana) Folmer of Westerville Ohio, Son Richie Folmer of Keystone Heights FL, Daughter Shelly Wolfgang-Folmer of Mansfield Ohio, Daughter Heather Folmer Wood of Florahome FL, 9 Grandchildren, and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was preceeded in death by his Sister Carol Swetlick of Mansfield Ohio, and his Mother and Father.

Although I have not seen Ronnie in decades I wanted to express my deepest condolences. He was my first cousin and I remember uncle Nick and aunt Dorothy well. RIP Ronnie
