Zulma M Romeu Roman of Santurce, Puerto Rico passed away at the age of 70 on August 7, 2018 in Gainesville, FL. Zulma is survived by her four children: Willy Vega of Pembroke Pines, FL; Wilma Vega of Kissimmee, FL; Waly Vega of Gainesville, FL; and Wilka Rodulfo of Winter Garden, FL; her 5 grandchildren: Nikole Fuentes-Vega, Sophie Vega, Lucas Vega, Niko Nin-Vega, and Mila Rodulfo and her 2 beloved sisters Cuqui Romeu and Pilar Romeu. Zulma’s faith carried her through life and she was always the first one to offer her wisdom and a helping hand. Everyone who knew her was touched by her giving heart. She had an art for writing and was an avid reader. Zulma embraced life with open arms, was always the life the party, loved to dance and laugh, cook for her family, friends and neighbors, shop for knick-knacks, and enjoyed the fine arts. Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Romeu Vega family.

My beloved mother, Oh how much I miss you, your voice, your wisdom, and your compasión. I can’t bear the thought of no longer being able to hug you, care for you, and having an opportunity to just whisper in your ear how much I love you. You were faced with so much adversity throughout your entire life, but you always figured out how to conquer and persevere. How much I miss you on the dinning table and on the dance floor. You were always the life of every family gathering. You always welcomed everyone and always extended a helping hand. So many people have reached out with the news of your passing. Each and everyone with so much beautiful memories of such a strong woman, yet with such a kind heart. You are loved by so many. I thank God for having gifted you to us. I miss you so much and will always carry your smile in my heart. I love you mamita!
