Pam Ward Thrift

Our very loved friend and family member, Pam Thrift was born on July 18, 1941 in Moline, IL and passed into God’s loving arms in Gainesville on December 27, 2018 following a tragic accident.

She is survived by her husband, Emery; her two kids, Mark and Kelle Moore; other children by marriage; two brothers, Dennis and Jim, and a sister Barb and many nieces and nephews across the US.  She will be missed by her 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandkids that lovingly knew her as GG Pam.

Pam married her husband of 39 years, Emery and they lived in Gainesville, FL for the last of 37 of those years.  Pam and Emery spent 21 years traveling the US for Emery’s work.  Pam volunteered at NFRMC where she volunteered for 5 years at the Women’s Center desk and 6 years as a cuddler in the NICU.  She was an animal lover and fostered many kittens over her many years at Gainesville Pet Rescue.

Pam was very close to her kids and loved them dearly.  She had very close relationships with local and lifelong friends.  She was always uplifting those with whom she spent time.  She loved music and could often be heard singing.  Pam had a loving and giving heart.  She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

Donations may be made in Pam’s memory to your favorite charity
