Aries Chan Diamond-Stead, age 45, of Hollywood, Florida passed away on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2019 after complications from a double lung transplant that she received on March 3rd , 2016. Aries was born in Canton, Ohio to Melinda Mort and Lawrence Stead. Aries was survived by her wife Jacqueline Diamond of nearly 10 years, Her dog Hammy (Hamish); mother, Melinda and step father Mark ; father, Lawrence and step mother Sharon; son, Julian and his wife Katie; brothers, Adam (wife Chelsea ) and Charles ( wife Kennedy);
Cousin Jimmi (wife Lori); and numerous other family. Aries loved her family dearly.
Aries was loved by many and more than she ever knew . She also was a well known singer/musician in the community. She was an amazing oil painter as well. Aries is an advocate for Donate Life and Organ Donation and she loved her fellow transplant friends & group and they loved her . She has touched so many people’s lives. Aries was a beautiful, talented, and wonderful spirit.

Aries was a great friend and sister in song together in concert chorale at vanguard. Such a special,sweet,loving soul. One of the kindest person I have met. Aries was one of a kind. From high school until her passing, she was always that one person who shined so bright. I pray that many people who were undecided about being an organ donor changed their mind to "yes" after knowing, meeting or by following her on social media. You are missed, you are loved.
