Richard Miles Mosley, 68, of Williston, passed away on July 18, 2019 in Gainesville, Florida.
Richard was born on Pine Mountain, Kentucky to Fritz and Erma Janette Mosley on December 11, 1950. He went to school in Leslie County, Kentucky and Dayton, Ohio. He worked as a framer for himself for many years and as an instructor at the Pine Knot Job Corp Centers before moving to Florida and gaining employment with the Veterans Hospital. He was a veteran and served in the Inited States Navy. He was involved in Boy Scouts of America for many years. He received the Whitney M Young Jr Service award for his work with the Boy Scouts. He was a member of the Lower Beechfork United Methodist Church of Mozelle Kentucky. Richard enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycles as well as spending time with his grandchildren.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents Fritz and Janette Mosley, grandparents Shelby and Rhoda Mosley as well as his brother Charles Shelby Mosley.
Richard is survived by children his children Angel Lint, Heather Parker and husband Alan, Colleen Harris and Brandon Miles Mosley, brother Matthew Mosley, grandchildren Shelby Mosley, Morgan Clark, Hannah Clark, Emma Leigh Parker, Gabriel Bartley, Margaret Harris, Charles Cook , great granddaughter Payton Louise Parker and a host of cousins and other family.
Memorials may be given to the any organization that helps Veterans in need.






Richard was one of the kindest men I have know. No doubt he is flying high with the angles. Prayers for the family

My sincere deep condolence to all of you. Richard was one of a kind. I can still remember talking with him in Harrodsburg, KY not to long ago. He will be missed by many.
