David Craig Ridenour was born on December 21, 1984 in Gainesville, Florida and died August 31, 2019 in the same city. He was the loving son of Wes and Karen Ridenour and was survived by his brother Todd. David is also survived by his true soul make Bonnie Whittaker who shared his love of hiking and the outdoors. They hiked all over the southeast and planned to go to Germany together in September. He is also survived by his two aunts and uncles Cloyd and Kay Ridenour of Sarasota and Richard and Sheila Mae Farland of Boynton Beach.
David graduated from Williston High School and the University of South Florida with a major in Environmental Science. As much as he loved science and math, he might have loved music more and was in three bands at the time of his death. His musical accomplishments took him all over the United States and he performed in New York, Virginia, Minnesota, Texas and Georgia when he wasn't working. He moved back to this area to look after his mother after his fathers death in 2015 and was a constant support for her in all things.
His kind and gentle nature will be missed by all who knew him.

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your son, Karen. Wishing peace and comfort to you and your family.
