Robert Charles Holmes III

Robert went to be with His Lord on December 3rd, 2019

Robert was born in Hanover, New Hampshire, on a cold night on January 14, 1957 to Robert C. Holmes and Ruth Thorson Holmes. His parents moved to the Florida Keys when he was a young man. He enjoyed the outdoors and especially the water. Swimming and fishing were his favorite things to do. He graduated from Marathon High School in Marathon, FL in 1975.
He was a loving father. His children were his pride and joy. Robert will be remembered most for his kindness, loving ways, helpfulness, and forgiveness. He loved family more than anything - and loved seeing everyone together. Robert’s family and friends were truly blessed to have such a beautiful, kind and loving soul in their lives.
He loved life and had a green thumb. He loved to plant trees and flowers and always kept the yard beautiful like a dream. He was a very hard worker and strove to do his best by providing excellent customer service to his clientele. He enjoyed our family vacations and exploring new places.
He is survived by his son, Robert, and daughters, Amanda, Leanne and Emilie; his siblings, Kris Von Thaden of Atlantis, FL, and Deborah Holmes Franzone of Spring Hill, FL; nephews, Trevor and Tony Franzone of Spring Hill, FL.
