Marvin D Woodward

Marvin Dewey Woodward, age 94, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2019, with family & friends by his side.  He was born in Aiken, SC on February 19, 1925 to the late Dewey and MayBelle Hammond Woodward.  He is preceded in death by his brother Woodrow, sister Pearl and wife Ruth.

Marvin served in the United States Army during WWII.  He married Ruth L. Walker in 1956, raised a daughter, and later retired from the New York Port Authority in 1984.

Left with loving memories are Joni R. Woodward, Oswaldo Abreu, Nelson B. Scott, sisters, Geneva Hastings and Beatrice Ledbetter & a host of relatives and friends.
