Dennis Boyd Alderman

Dennis B. Alderman – Williston, FL/Fairfax, VT – February 29, 2020 - age 71, passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dennis was born in Burlington, VT to Chadwick and Doris Alderman. He grew up in Milton before leaving for the Navy. Upon his return he married his wife of 50 years, Cheryl (Dubuque) Alderman. Together they raised 3 children in Johnson, VT. Dennis spent most of his career working for Pizzagalli Construction Company. In 1997, he moved to Fountain, CO where he resided for about 15 years while driving OTR. Upon returning to Vermont in 2013, Dennis started working for Camp Precast driving oversize loads. Dennis enjoyed hunting, fishing, quarter midget racing with his grandkids, helping his family and friends with projects and watching Nascar racing.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl. A son, Johnny and his wife Kitty of Fairfax, a daughter Tammy of Fletcher, VT and a son Chad of Johnson, VT. His grandchildren: Levi, Katelyn, Teagan, Alexis, Cody, Tabor, Kendralyn, Greyson and Jaylin. His 3 sisters: Cammie Combs, Colleen Bunnell and Cherie Reynolds and a brother Dover Alderman. His sister-in-laws: Linda Alderman, Suzanne Dubuque, Jackie Barton and Alba Boutin. His brother-in-laws: Mark Bunnell and Kevin Boutin and many nieces and nephews. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Chadwick and Doris Alderman, in-laws Robert and Marion Dubuque, brother Dale Alderman, brothers in laws Donald Dubuque, Ralph Combs and Jimmy Barton.

Dennis Boyd Alderman, 71, of Williston, Florida and a United States Navy veteran passed away on Saturday February 29, 2020 in Gainesville, Florida.
