Paddy Bunton

Paddy Gilrie Bunton, 93, of Keystone Heights, Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 23, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph C. and Lavorah Donahoo and husband, Floyd O. Gilrie, Jr. She is survived by her sister, Jorene Soose; husband, Keith Bunton; son, Duane (Pam) Gilrie; daughter, Denise (Yancy) Dull; grandchildren; Tamara Nelson, Holly Mallory, Derrick Gilrie, Shelly Dull, Sarah Ruwe; one great granddaughter, Madison Mallory and four great grandsons, Cody Bierman, Skyler Bierman, Ty Nelson and Sullivan Ruwe.

Paddy was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great grandmother. She cherished spending holidays with family and friends as a time to celebrate, and she took great pride in decorating and hosting on these special occasions. She had a God given talent as an artist, especially portraits, and became a local award-winning artist and art teacher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Keystone Heights for over 60 years and served as a member of the choir for many years. She was a member of the Keystone Heights Eastern Star Chapter #279 where she rose to the position of Worthy Matron. After serving her Chapter for 50 years, Paddy became an Honorary member. Paddy was a loved and valued employee of Keystone State Bank in both the Keystone Heights and Melrose office until retirement.

Paddy was known for her sweet nature, kindness and beauty. She will be missed by her family, friends, caregiver and her Hospice Team.
