John was a dear friend whom I worked with at City Council. I enjoyed our conversations and learned so much from him! He knew everything about politics, art, world events and history, etc.! His office at the City was full of artwork, mementos, notes, photos and books. He always had classical music on and tea steeping in a mug. It was a little oasis and I just loved it – and him! He was a delight and a brilliant wit! The world lost a true gentleman! Rest in Peace sweet John!Â
