Billy Clay Willoughby Sr.

Billy Clay Willoughby Sr, 79, passed away
after a brief illness at ORMC, Ocala, Florida.
He was born August 13 1940 in Levee Kentucky he was
the son of the late Ora Willoughby and Nellie Mae Branham.
Billy worked for GTE/Verizon for 30 years
before retirement in 2005. In 1996 he moved
to Ocala, Florida. It was there that he took
up golfing seriously. He worked at the
SSS Country Club so he could sneak in some
free golf. Billy’ then went to work for
the City of Ocala, Telecommunications.
Years later he again retired. Billy was an awesome
softball player and coach. Billy could repair
just about everything. If he needed assistance…

dotting on the grandkids
and great grands. Always a kid at heart!
He is survived by his beloved wife
Judy (McCormick, Jones, Rao), of 28 years, children,
Billy (Becky) Willoughby, Jack (Angie) Willoughby,
Darrell (Jennifer) Willoughby, Tina Jones,
Heather Jones, Rocky (Karina) Rao,
Tena Willoughby and Yvonne Tolson. His
cherished 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Best friend Charles Simpson. Numerous nieces and nephews.
Brothers, Dickie, James, Sherman
and sisters Bessie Mae Hemmes and Shirley Esenbock
Preceded in death brothers George & Roy
and sister Elizabeth.

I am going to miss you more than words can ever express. You taught me a lot about being a man when no one was there to do so. I will be thinking of you always and I know your smiling down on all of us… just make sure you turn on the TV up there and watch those Cats win another national title in your honor. Didn’t know Bill that long But I do know he had a big heart. As the two of you were always there to help out and also great neighbors for Lee. Seemed like such a nice guy. We are so sorry to hear of his passing.
You are missed every day! My broken heart💔 will take time to mend but just know that I will be okay! You were an awesome dad to all our kids and a super Papaw/Papa! Those kids will never forget all the time you spent with them. You loved with all your heart! I hope they have the SEC channel in heaven so you can carry on the tradition of following the CATS! 🏀 Until we meet again! I LOVE YOU!❤️
I miss you so much Papa. You taught me how to live and love. You played a big part in my life, and I could not ask for anyone else to be my Papa. You will always be the reason the Cats win. Tell God to get you your own movie theater so you can watch those Cats win another championship. I miss you and love you.
