August 29, 1953- August 24, 2020
Ellen Sirvidio, of The Villages, Florida, died peacefully August 24. She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Gary, her parents, Winnie and Jim, and sister Audrey(Hewitt). She is survived by her brothers, Jim and Richard, nieces Katie, Jen, Lauren, Melissa and Arlene; nephews Joe and John, and many other family and friends.
Ellen was born in Paterson, NJ, and grew up in Clifton, NJ.
A graduate of Clifton High in 1971, Ellen completed a B.S. in Earth Science at William Paterson University in 1975. From there, she went on to work for the U.S. Postal Service, where she met Gary. They married in 1983, worked in Paterson, and lived in various communities in Northern Jersey before retiring after 30 years of service with the Post Office, to The Villages in Florida.
Ellen was an avid reader, loved all kinds of music, enjoyed bowling.
Both she and Gary enjoyed many happy holidays at their time share in Disney World.
Her family and friends will dearly miss her kindness and humility.

I am so sad to hear the news about Ellen. She and Gary were one of my favorite patients. I will forever miss them. I hope they are united again in Heaven and shining down upon us smiling! My condolences to your family as we will miss Ellen’s smiling face and servant heart!
