Barbara: My Aunt, but more like my Sister. we were raised together in Cincinnati, Ohio, in those days we did everything together. It was Barbra who help planted the seeds to my Catholic Faith, it was Barbara that first exposed me to Auto Racing, where I spent over 50 year of my life. Barbara and I have been the best of friends since we were in the fifth grade at St. Ursula. We have been in touch with each other ever since. She was my maid of honor at the wedding of Bob and me. I was the maid of honor at her wedding to Tom Marcone. She will be missed by us! ❤️ Angela
My heart hurts Thinking about so many years of not seeing you and so many other things. I am so grateful to you and always believing me and made me a much better person. All the fun, laughs, generosity and love. Always will be appreciative for so much in this life! God bless!
Blessings to Mrs. Tennesson (Barbara) in heaven. I had alot of fun growing up near her during my teenage years spending time with her two sons, Tom and Michael, at their home in Dunwoody at Ball Mill Court. We had a blast!
Barbara was always alot of fun to be with, and she was very nice too. She was always a great listener, and somebody you could talk to. She was a beautiful lady with a great sense of style aligned with great intelligence. Barbara was from Cincinnati, and she loved her hometown very much. I was blessed to get to know her and her sister, Norma Jean, and I heard all about the times that Barbara had growing up in Cincinnati from Tom. She loved it there, and she was very loyal to her hometown, as is Tom.
I also spent alot of time with her sons, Tom and Michael. Tom and I were practically inseparable in those days. We had great times together. I will never forget how nice Barbara and her husband, Colonel Tennesson, were to us back then giving us food, candy, laughs- anything that you asked them for. I spent alot of time in their home back then, and they always treated me like a member of the family. They were always so generous and kind to me.
My Mom, Ronnie Russell, and my grandma, Alice Bentvena, and Barbara had some great times out together back in the 1980s and 1990s. They had a blast! They were all best buddies, and they acted like sisters.
Over the past 15-20 years, I had lost touch with Barbara, and I was devastated to learn of the very sad news of her passing. I will never forget her, and her big laugh and smile with her beautiful hair and looks, and I will always remember how beautiful, fun, and kind she was. RIP, Mrs. Tennesson, you will be missed.
