Charles Schaad Jr.

Charles Frederick Schaad, Jr “Fritzie”, age 61, of Ocala, Florida passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of November 8, 2020. He leaves behind his wife, Alina Schaad and their two children, Zachary and Amanda Schaad; his Mother, Geneva “Mae” Schaad and his father Charles Schaad, Sr.; his sister Cendy Mullen; and his noble pup Reeses.

Fritzie was born and raised in South Florida and graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes. Many years later, he met his loving wife Alina of 30 years. After finding his soulmate they had two children, Zachary and Amanda. Fritzie and his wife relocated to Ocala, Florida where he and his wife strived to give their children the best possible life and resources to be successful in life.

Once Fritzie’s children left the nest, Fritzie’s greatest passion and hobby was fishing with his wife. Fritzie, who spent most of his childhood and adult years in the Florida Keys found the joy in life fishing away his days. Prior to his passing, he dreamed of days of long fishing expeditions, great fish and strength.

Fritzie also always surrounded himself with friends and family. He was notoriously difficult and hard to please. However, Fritzie had a good sense of humor and was someone who would take the time to enjoy life’s obstacles and talk your ear off. Fritzie will always be remembered for his strong heart and will be missed. His family will take the time to mourn their loss and lay his ashes on his favorite reef at a later time.
