Curtis was born in Hialeah, Florida, to Arlene and Earl Desbrow. Hialeah was home until he left for Gainesville to attend the University of Florida. Curtis truly loved Florida, choosing never to live anywhere but the Sunshine State. He did, however, live all over the state, from Miami to the Ft. Lauderdale area to Central Florida to Pensacola and finally back to Gainesville. He loved the great outdoors, especially the Keys. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling. He was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears and enjoyed watching Seinfeld and South Park on TV. He was an avid reader and student of history. Curtis had a huge heart for animals of all kinds. He took in many homeless dogs and cats and fed the neighborhood birds and iguanas.
Curtis was preceded in death by his mother Arlene. He is survived by his father Earl, stepmother Judy, sister Janet and her husband Alan Williams, his ex wife Susan, and numerous other family members.
Believing in the possibility of health and hope for others Curtis was an organ donor.
Curtis you are missed. We love you very, very much.
Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Desbrow Family.

We miss you, Curtis.
