Patrick Victor Corrado

Patrick Victor Corrado of Jacksonville, Florida passed peacefully during the early morning of December 31st, 2020.

Living in Jacksonville his whole life, he was born April 19, 1948 to Vickie and Neil Corrado. In June 1988, he married his loving wife, Cay. Pat is survived by his wife, his daughter Angelina Marie and his son Michael Anthony, as well as his many grandchildren, Raymond, Elyse, Ayden, Anthony, Alexander, Ethan, Aaron, Ciel, Kirby, Hannah and Juliette and his great grandchildren Nevaeh, Laynah and Julian. He is also survived by his brother Neil Corrado and his wife Cheryl, as well as, Corey his nephew and Kayla his niece.

Pat was a true Italian. He knew how to cook amazing pastas and sauces, and he always drank the best wines! Pat was well known for hosting a yearly wine tasting that was not to be missed. His love for food drove him to open Corrado’s Bakery & Bistro in Five Points, as well as, helping his brother and sister-in-law, Cheryl, with all-things-wine and food at their restaurants, Derby on Park and the Old Florida Café.

He enjoyed throwing the ball and playing frisbee with his many dogs, including his current German Shorthaired Pointer, Rammer. He had a passion for automobiles and loved restoring and driving vintage cars. Sports were another passion of Pat’s; he was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan and was an inaugural supporter of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Pat was also an avid scuba diver exploring many reefs around the world. But, what he really loved was teaching young players, including Little League coaching. Pat’s greatest passion, however, was spending time with Cay and his ever-growing family.
