Linda Kay Brooks
age at death-70 years old
Residence at death-Bronson, FL
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday January 5, 2021 at Haven Hospice of Gainesville
Linda was born in Memphis TN to Earl and Audrey Brooks. She was preceded in death by her first husband Cecil Martin (September 7, 1998) and her father Earl Brooks Sr. (January 6, 2012 ). She is survived by her children Kaye (Craig) and Sheri (Barry); grandchildren Sara and Caleb (Kaye) and two others (Sheri); 2 great-grandchildren; mother Audrey; siblings Earl Jr, Audrey, and Paul; and dear friends Bill and Linda Pearson, and Randy Brisentine.
Linda loved anything crafty. She was very creative and took the phrase "one man's trash is another man's treasures" to heart by making beautiful things to share with others. She was the greatest giver many ever knew. What a great example she was of God's love shining to those around her. She radiated joy as she had joy in the Lord and all could see that.
Proverbs 31:25 KJV "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come."
Thank you to all who have stayed in touch with our mother over the years as she moved around and made new friends. She cherished her friendships up to the end of her earthly life.

I have many good memories of Linda! I remember teaching 2’s & 3’s with her, and going to visit her. II think we had a party for the 2’s & 3’s at her house. I remember her orange slice cake , and monkey bread. A day with Linda was a happy day!❤️Good memories!
Rest in God's perfect peace Aunt Linda.
My mom was loved so much by many people. And although she never met her great grandbabies, she loved them dearly. She made multiple items for them to play with that are still enjoyed. She had a beautiful soul. She taught me the meaning of Christmas. It is more fun to give than to receive. Love and miss you mom.
