Osborn Mobley

Ossie Mobley, 76, of Ocala, Florida passed peacefully at his home on January 8, 2021.
Ossie was born in Live Oak, Florida to Osborne and Marguerite Mobley, where he lived until he was 10 and his family moved to Ocala. He
graduated from Ocala High School in 1962. He worked as a production manager in the mobile home industry (Nobility Homes, Skyline Mobile
Homes) for a while, but most of his career was spent working at Mark III, a company that employed more people than any other company in
Marion County for years. He is well known, respected, and remembered as being a person who expected the best from his employees and gave
his all every day to lead the way to the company’s success.
Ossie is survived by his son Michael, daughter in law Kim, and five grandsons: Kyle, Kevin, Josh, Sam, and Trey. He is also survived by his daughter Lorri Mobley Ewers, son in law Randy Ewers and two granddaughters: Savanna and Sophia. His sister Sharon Keiser, and
nephew Chris live in Belleview and he has an aunt, Helen Mobley, and many cousins that still live in the Live Oak – McAlpin area.
He was very blessed to have reacquainted with a friend from earlier years, Alma Stephens. Alma came back into Ossie’s life when his
mother was failing in health and Alma was able to help take care of her. Alma became his partner, friend, and family. She then brought her
daughter Helen and grandson Nolan to stay with them and they became family. Alma, Helen, and Nolan were a blessing to Ossie and his family
as they took amazing care of him until he passed. Ossie’s family is more than grateful for all they did for him.

Ossie and I started working together at Skyline Corporation is Sarasota, Fl. I considered him a good friend. Later on, we worked together at Mark III. He demaned much of everyone but gave more than he demaneded. I am so sorry i missed knowing him in his later years. Ozzie, you are still the best.
