Guadalupe Fragoso Farfan

February 27, 2021

On Saturday, February 27, 2021, Guadalupe (Lupe) Fragoso our beloved mother, moved on to the next chapter of existence at the age of 76.

Lupe was born in 1944 in Coacalco, in El Estado Libre y Soberano de México. Lupe graduated as an Executive Secretary in 1965, and enjoyed the work at el Palacio de Bellas Artes until 1985 when she boldly took her two children Wendy, and later Benjamin, to a foreign land for a permanent better life in the United States.

Though Lupe suffered many seemingly insurmountable struggles her entire life, through her indomitable spirit she always prevailed. Lupe loved life, art, music, and dancing.

Her daughter Wendy, her son Benjamin, her six grandchildren, and her very large family in Mexico now and always will miss her greatly.

  1. My deepest condolences for your loss. I wish your family the peace and strength needed to get through this painful ordeal. Your mother was pleasant and always kind to me . I will forever have nothing but good memories of her and your family.

  2. Mama,I am going to miss you so much. I know you are in a better place with no more pain or suffering. See you later, like you always said.
    Te amo hoy y siempre.

  3. I remember a few years ago today, you were mad at me for buying you flowers. You threw them in the garbage. I thought it was funny, but you sure got your point across.
    Still miss you every day.

  4. Your grandchildren are doing great, you even have a great-grand daughter now.
Thank you for everything you did for us.

  6. Remember how much you liked The Beatles? Every time I hear one of their songs, or John Lennon's, it reminds me of you. The memories are mostly happy memories now.

  7. I finally got around to putting your room in order.

Threw out some things, donated some things, kept a few. Four years and it was still very hard. I played my music library on shuffle while I was in there; striking how much of the music you liked, came up on rotation. The whole time I kept remembering so many things about you; I guess that was the best part.

  8. I said thank you to your grandson the other day for being so helpful. He said not to thank him, but to thank you for the way you raised me, for I raised him with the same principles you imparted to me. Still miss you.

  9. : ) . . . I do not know if it is the time that has passed, but I seem to have only good memories of you.

  10. The foundation you laid for us, has yielded satisfying prosperity. I hope somehow, you are/were aware of all the wonderful fruit of your many sacrifices.
