Rhonda Darlene Hoover (AKA) Peanut, age 60, passed away at home in Jacksonville Florida on Saturday, May 22, 2021.
Darlene was born on February 6, 1961 and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. Darlene, (AKA) Peanut was a down-to-earth, free-spirited person who lived her life as each day was an adventure and loved to travel in her younger years and then settled down just enough to be a mom. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, singing, and always loved a good ride on the back of a hog. She never met a stranger, was always the life of the party, and enjoyed making people laugh. The last few years she volunteered with her church and had a motto that she'd like to live by " recognize, realize, and react". But Darlene's greatest achievement was being a mom to her son Brandon.
She is survived by her only son, Brandon Michael Mazza and his father. As well as her siblings, Marvin Hoover ( Antonia), Lester Wells, Bill Goodge (Kay), Timmy Hoover (Michele), Tina Krauss (Nate). One Aunt, Anna Rougas (John) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father; John Mitchell Hoover Sr., mother, Joyce Marie Degl, and brother Mitchell Hoover.
