  1. I first met Jerry in the early 1990's when I stated working at Monkey's Uncle. That infectious smile and laugh was an introduction to the purest heart and kindest soul you could hope to know. Jerry introduced me to an incredible group of "Pirates" where I soon joined as on original member of the "Pirates of Eight". That smile, his warm encompassing hugs and his true love of his friends will be truly missed. Rest in Peace my friend, you will be missed and always loved.

  2. It has been so long since I have seen Jerry. We played pool together and we were brother and sisters in our pirate family. I never knew Jerry to be anything other than kind and fun to be around. I will miss him and regret not staying in touch over the years. RIP Jerry and PHHHB!!!

  3. Jerry was one of the nicest and kind people I have ever known. I enjoyed being around him always.

  4. Jerry was an amazing person and friend. He will truly be missed by all that were lucky enough to know him. We shared many laughs and good times over the years. His spirit will live on with everyone that knew him. moe i ka maluhia Jerry. 💜

  5. Jerry was such a great guy and a good friend. He always had a smile on his face. I'll always think of him on his Bday and the fun times at MU. Also the wonderful trips like Vegas and cruises. Gone way too soon.

  6. My most heartfelt condolences Sandi.  Jerry was a special kinda guy, he welcomed everyone into
his circle without reservation.  God needed him to fill his bouquet; Rest in heavenly peace dear Jerry, we will all be together again.

  7. AFTER GLOW
I'd like the memory of me
    To be a happy one
I'd like to leave an afterglow
Of smiles when life is done.
I'd like to leave an echo
    Whispering down the ways.
Of happy times and laughing times
    And bright and sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve
    To dry before the sun
Of happy memories that I leave
    When life is done.

  8. Jerry will be so missed by so many of his family and friends. And he had so many friends as Mayor or Monkeys. Love you Jerry.
Sandi, no words can convey the sadness I feel for you and Becca. Love you all.

  9. We are all going to miss Jerry. I am so sorry for your loss. Jerry was a great person they say the good die young and it was definitely true in his case. May God help ease your pain and always think of the good times you had together. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  10. Jerry was a remarkable Man!  Always kind, a good listener, gave good advice.
A good family man, and friend to many!
    RIP Jerry!

  11. Sandy,
I am so sorry to hear the news about Jerry. I hope his illness was not long and hard. Regardless of how and why these things happen when they are final and all is quiet it is very hard. It affects spouses and children and family and friends differently and handling everyone's needs is as challenging as handling ones own grief.
I advise my family and friends when facing a loss to read about the grieving process and try to recognize how to best handle this process. I use the link to the grieving process from the National Cancer Institute Website but there are other sites and books on grief.
Please know I am thinking about you and Jerry's friends. This is hard and I wish you well. I remember Jerry from the time you were talking about buying a 84 Corvette. I am glad Jerry liked cars as this hobby made me many friends and I am sure it did for him also. Again, sorry for your loss and thinking about you and your family.

  12. I work for St. Johns County and Jerry worked at Clary and Associates in Jax and they did a lot of survey work for the County. He was such a hard worker and great to work with. His personality was so easy to work with and always glad to help. Always had a very nice time when Clary would throw those amazing Christmas parties and that is when I first meet Jerry face to face. God Bless to your family and thank you for always being so kind.
