Walter (Fast Eddie) Smith

Walter E. Smith (Fast Eddie) 75 years old, passed away on Saturday June 19, 2021 in Tallahassee, Fl. with is family by his side. 

He grew up in Gainesville, Fl. where he remained until 2018, when he and his wife Julia, moved to Tallahassee to be closer to family. 

Eddie had a remarkably successful career in the food sales industry, working with Florida Food Service for 37 years.  He was awarded Salesman Of the Year five times and contributed immensely to the company’s success. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Julia Kates Smith.  Lovingly remembered by his daughter Shannon and Spouse Craig Cook, son Justin and spouse Kay Smith, and grand children Sydney and Graham Cook, and Parker and Cooper Smith.
