Betty Sue (Davidson) Hewitt

born  May 30, 1938 in Harlan, KY to Rudy(Jean) and Cyle Davidson. Dies June 30, 2021 in Gainesville, FL after a courageous 3+ year battle with cancer.

   She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Kyle of Atlanta, GA and Garland of Chicago; a sister Clara Nordstedt of Gainesville and son Danny Lee Williamson of Gainesville.

  She is survived by husband John of Gainesville, son Ron Williamson of Maggie Valley, NC, daughter Ruth(Heidi) Rich and Deborah Frening of Gainesville, Lois Firicand of Peabody,MA and Roberta Bradford of Ocala, FL.

   Betty started work in '74 at the battery assembly plant in Hague where she worked about 15 years. Then she and husband co-published The Rental Guide Magazine in Gainesville for about 5 years, and finished her working career at Creekwood Apartment as co-mgr about 10 years later.

  Betty loved the 6 kids and 10 grandkids and 4 great-grandkids and was loved in return by all. Her favorite name is Nanna.
