Lisa Suzette Satcher

August 21, 2021

Lisa Suzette Satcher, age 54, died in Gainesville on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021. She was an incredible daughter, sister, cousin and friend to so many. Lisa was employed as a Police Officer in Gainesville Fl. for 27 years where she retired in 2018. She started a local business Snowie Gator that has become one of the favorites of the community. Lisa embraced everything outdoors and loved her dogs like they were children! She lived her life to the fullest and those around her always knew they had a friend that would do ANYTHING for them. She was an amazing woman of impeccable integrity, character, truthfulness (even if you did not want to hear it), love, fun and laughter. Upon retirement she was presented with a street sign that said it all (Satcher Way) nothing could be closer to the truth. Her love and passion were her family, friends, country, police work and community service. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Lisa was a professing Christian and knew her eternal life was secured through her faith in Christ. Go be with the Lord and all those before you Lisa, we will see you on the other side. Hakuna Matata Lisa! She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond J. Campbell, Sheila Ann O’Neill and David G. Satcher. Survivors include her brother, David Jr (Bonnie) Satcher of Cincinnati, Ohio; cousin, Debora Glenn of Gainesville, Fla.; uncle Allen (Linda) Satcher; nephews and niece Matthew, Christopher and Lauren; and additional cousins Rick (Pam), Ryan, Roni (Erik), Jessica, Andrew, Tati, Antonio, Izzy, Mason, Tiffany, Lindsay, Kierstin and Layla.
