Joseph Pane

September 8, 2021

Joseph Bernard Pane, 75, passed away September 8, 2021, at Cates House Hospice in Ocala, Florida after being diagnosed with, and suffering from, Ioliopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.  He was born in Danbury, CT on April 25, 1946 to the late Joseph Francis and Jane Lutz Pane.

Joe graduated from Norwalk Technical Institute and continued his computer training at New York Institute of Technology on Long Island.  He retired from his position as a Senior Nomad Developer in 2013 and took up the game of golf, working on dollhouses and traveling the country.

He was a sports enthusiast, loving from childhood, the NY Yankees. If football, golf or UConn Women’s basketball was on TV, Joe would be watching, and of course, coaching!

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty (Eckert) Pane of Ocala, son Matthew, his daughters Beth Fountain and Keri Pane, and their families his brother Thomas and several nieces and nephews. His three grandchildren were the loves of his life and he was a very proud and loving Papa.

At his request the immediate family will celebrate his life and love privately.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Lung Association.

Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Pane Family.
