Dale M. Ballard (48) of Windsor/ Gainesville, Fl. Passed away on August 27, 2021 in Gainesville, Fl. 

Predeceased in death by his Parents: Bennie Ballard  and Beverly Carter Ballard. 
Survived by wife Darlene(Owens) Ballard.
Surviving Children: Andrew Ballard,  Katherine Ballard, Kayla Ballard, Jessica Schumann, and Charles Curtis. 
Surviving Siblings: Jacob Ballard (Shona), JoAnn Monroe-Wall (Robert).
Surviving Grandchildren: Damien Ballard and Philip Campbell. 
Dale was born and grew up in Orlando, Fl. 
He later lived in Georgia before moving to the Gainesville area where met and married his wife. 
Dale was a devoted Husband and loving Father. His wife Darlene was the light of his life. His children were his whole world and he was very proud of them. His Grandchildren were his pride and joy. 
Dale was a dedicated truck driver.  His most memorable time as a truck driver was when he went to Colorado for truck driving school.  He was able to experience many parts of the United States for the first time in his life. 
Dale enjoyed playing video games in his free time. He loved 80s movies and music. He was a huge fan of Star Wars and Disney World. 
Dale was a simple, straight forward, and truthful man. A friend to many and always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. 
My Beloved Husband you will be deeply missed by all your family and friends. Until we meet again on the otherside.  We love you.

  2. I met Dale in Colorado one of those few people I met and liked right off the bat. Talked about home and family all the time. Me being from Cocoa and him from Orlando we had alot in common. He will be sorely missed.

  3. I had the pleasure of meeting Dale when we were both in Colorado getting our CDLs. He was a joy to be around, always trying to get you to laugh or at least smile. He will be missed by many but will always be in their hearts
