My heart is broken for You and Evan. There is peace and comfort in knowing Erin is in the loving arms of her Daddy.
Mel, you already know how sorry I am that Ernie lost his battle. My thoughts and prayers were with you both during his struggle. I'm so glad that you and Evan have each other.
Love you friend
We loved the opportunity to have Ernie is our lives along with his very beloved family. When we think of him always it will be with smiles on our faces, as he was just that sort of guy. May peace and strength be yours as well , as the knowledge that he and all that loved him, fought an incredible battle to ensure when it was his time to pass on, that he fully knew the love and devotion of his family.
We love you Mel and Evan-
Sheba and Will
He was 18 days younger than me. TOO young to leave behind such a loving family! May he rest in Peace and may his memory be a blessing.
Ernie was a good soul  A great loss to everyone he touchedÂ
Peace and love to You and Evan. Please take comfort in knowing that Erin is now resting in the loving arms of her Daddy….
Ernie was a great guy and I’m so glad I was able to know him. I will continue to keep you Mel and Evan in my thoughts and prayers. I know this is a very difficult time for you. Love you both!Â
I feel like I knew Ernie through Mel. Â I know they had a love that everyone would want with their spouse. Â Ernie is up there with Erin looking down giving you Mel, and you Evan soothing love. Accept that soothing love and remember the wonderful times you all had together. Â The both of you move through this life on earth touching those in your path with good cheer and love. Â There will be a time that you will all be together again. Â Lots of love and hugs to the both of you from me.
Mel, Ernie was my best friend even though we did not socialize except for what we could get by with at work (extended coffee breaks). Â We had over 30 years of daily communications. Â In all that time, there were no disagreements or hurt feelings. Â He always spoke lovingly of you. Â I heard a lot about Erin. Â And his buddy Evan. Â I feel like you are a part of my family. Â He talked often of Evan and their good times playing golf and attending Gator sports events of all kinds. Â We shared the little life stories like how many rattlesnakes your dog would corner and the big frog that mysteriously disappeared from your pool area. Â He was always available to answer my questions. Â I will think of him daily. Â
