Love you Dad. I will miss you and our great times we had hunting together.
Love you, grandpa. You are very much missed already.
We look forward to being together as a family in God’s new world- in perfect health- the way it was meant to be!
Your daughter-in-law,
Patty
I miss your way of being funny to make me laugh. I will miss your strength & the determination you always showed no matter what the circumstances. But I most of all look forward to seeing your smiling face again when God's new world takes place. Love you always Dad, your daughter, Alice.
Well, Dave, you did it your way. You were always my big brother. Always there for me and any one else in the family. We miss you. Love you. We look forward to seeing you on the other side.
Love you grandpa, look forward to seeing you again when we're in God's new world.
Dave, you were certainly unique. As a child, you and my sister, Boots, were influential in my life. As a teenager, you taught me how to drive, how to make authentic Italian lasagna (recipe still used today), and how to cook some great barbecue. As a young adult, I didn’t always understand your motivation and behavior, but I deeply appreciate what you and Boots did for my mother. At times, you were like a second father to me. Over the last few years, we are thankful for everything you did in taking care of my sister, Boots. You will be missed. Love, Liz
We've been together for 64 years and through those years we've had our good times and our bad times. But through it all we had two beautiful children, our daughter Alice and our son Dan. We've also been blessed with two beautiful grand daughters, Rachel and Erin.
I look forward to the time when we can be together again as a family in Jehovah's new world. I love you and miss you very much. Your loving wife, Janet
Uncle Dave, I have so many memories of being at your house as a kid with you and Aunt Boots. You always kept your home in immaculate condition. You were a great cook and your lasagna recipe lives on through me. (It’s one of the few dishes I’m really great at making.) You also liked a good laugh. I remember one time back in the 1980’s you bought a new car (this was pre-cell phones) and you wanted to play a trick on everyone and pretend like your car had a car phone built into it. So, you had me run into the house and grab an old phone and you put the receiver on the center console. When everyone got in to take a ride in your new car, you really had everyone for a minute pretending to talk on that phone and it was a good laugh. You are missed. Love, your niece, Autumn
Dave, I have all sorts of good memories with you. I remember when you and Boots got married, the things they did to your car goes way beyond funny and not so funny. I was only 12 or 13, but as I remember it you took for what it was. Fun. You will be missed
Dave you will be missed
Dear Janet, Alice, and Dan,
We are so sorry for the loss of your husband and father. Our hearts go out to you all. Please know we love you and we look forward to seeing Dave again happy and healthy. May your hearts find peace and comfort until that time.
All our love,
Tony and Janeen
I didn’t meet Mr. Reiger until late in his life but wish I had met him under different circumstances. He was an insightful, straight shooting man who immediately felt like family to me and I am honored to have known him and his amazing family.
