Wayne John Wallaert

February 1, 1960 – December 10, 2021

 

Wayne John Wallaert JR. (John to family), passed away on December 10, 2021 at the age of 61 unexpectedly at home in Ocala, FL. John was the Husband of Phyllis (PJ) Wallaert. They shared 10 years of marriage and 19 years of partnership.

Born February 1, 1960 in Waukegan, IL, he was the son of Betty Thomas and Wayne Wallaert SR. He was employed at Central Florida Transportation and worked as a proud truck driver.

John enjoyed spending time with PJ, fishing, going to Clearwater beach, eating a good steak and listening to Rock and Blues music. John will be remembered for his accepting personality and kindness for others. John would literally give you the shirt off of his back or be there to lend an ear or hand.

John is survived by his Spouse, PJ Wallaert, his Mother, Betty Thomas, and Father, Wayne Wallaert SR. His Children, Heather Wallaert, Teri Lein (James Lein), Tami Chapman(Branden Chapman), Tom Odarczenko, Grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, Logan, Paytyn and one furry grand cat, siblings, Rae Del Morgan, Dean Beatty, Nieces and Nephew, Tina, Jamie , Jonathan and many many friends. John is preceded in death by his sister, Renee Ward and step-father, Larry Thomas.

  2. Wayne was a coworker who made the job at hand…not a job.Always with a kind word and a helping hand. You're on God's highway now,and in time we'll all ride together again.Till then…Keep the black side down and shiny side up.

  3. Wayne was a coworker and a friend. I miss him already. We spent 14 hours a day 5 days a week together. I will always cherish our long talks, and his stories he shared. Whenever I needed something he would help without hesitation. He was truly a good friend. R.I.P. Wayne. Until we meet again.
