My heartfelt prayers go out to all of the Rathbun family whom he loved and cherished very, very much. He never met a stranger, never told a lie, always ready to lend a hand. He was a model for us all. If you met him, you will never forget him. He was a man we can try to live up to, but ….He will forever be in the hearts of all that knew him with love and great sadness. To say that he will be missed is a great understatement. He is in heaven now, dancing, swinging that golf club, laughing and teaching everyone some new words. God bless you, Roland, you will always be loved and missed. Fair winds and following seas. Faye
Heartfelt condolences to Roland's family. I didn't know him very well, as we only golfed together a few times. Even so, I rem him as a fun guy and a pretty good golfer. RIP Roland.
Roland was my very dear friend for more than 30 years. He loved the two-step, waltz, polka and was always one of my favorite dance partners. We spent many hours having coffee, breakfast and epic conversations at Village Inn after a night of dancing at Crazy Horse, Silverado’s or one of the other country music clubs. A wonderfully unique man and I will miss him.
I enjoyed knowing Roland for well over 20 years at our country dancing venues. He was a gentleman and well liked by everyone. He could out dance the Energizer Bunny. He will be missed by all who knew him. God speed Roland in your next adventure. You leave a lot of friends behind. Prayers go out to your family.
Prayers for the family. Rowland was one of my first, and always my favorite, dance partners. His smile was contagious and he always wore one. Loved dearly by this girl.
