Sharon Elaine Cybularz, 71, passed away peacefully at home on the morning of Tuesday, January 18, 2022, following a brief illness.
Sharon was born on August 8th, 1950, in Spartanburg, SC to Charles and Clara Dillard (Gilliam). She was raised in her hometown with her two sisters, surrounded by an extensive family. Sharon graduated from Spartanburg High School, class of 1968.
In 1981 Sharon met her husband Bob and they instantly fell in love, marrying just a short time later on April 23, 1982. Bob showed Sharon the world, not with just their travels and moves stateside. They loved to cruise and vacation together and have extensively traveled all over from the Caribbean to Spain. Sharon was devoted to being a stay-at-home mom to her daughter Angie, always supportive and encouraging, so proud of everything she did. She doted over and spoiled her three grandchildren every chance she got and cheered them on at all of their sporting events. Her face was always so bright, her smile so big whenever they were around. She loved cooking, her lasagna was always a favorite request, gardening and taking care of her family. Sharon enjoyed time spent with her mom and her sisters, especially when everyone was able to get together for the holidays. There was always good story telling going on when you saw the 4 of them together at the table with a piece of cake and a cup of coffee. Sharon never met a stranger, she was always so genuinely invested in everyone she spoke to. She was nurturing to children of all ages becoming everyone’s momma or nana. Her legacy will forever live on in the hearts and minds of anyone she ever met.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Bob; daughter, Angie Boyd; mother, Clara Dillard; sister, Kathy Waldrop (Denis); sister, Donna Pruitt (Alan); sister-in-law, Diane Rapp (Al); grandchildren, Reese, Anna and Kinley; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends; last but not least her fur baby Biscuit who was her protector until the end. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles D. Dillard.
The family would like to express our thanks for the wonderful care and continued support from the 4th Floor-Heart staff at Baptist Downtown Hospital as well as Dr. Subrato Deb and staff.
