Kyle Thomas Vickroy, 39, of Gainesville, FL passed away unexpectedly on February 1st, 2022. Kyle was born in Galveston TX on July 23rd 1982 to parents Thomas and Jane Vickroy. Kyle moved to Gainesville at an early age and attended public school in Alachua County, graduating from Buchholz High School in 2000. Kyle spent many good times participating in sports and meeting friends at the Northwest Boys and Girls Club.Kyle loved the water, especially going to the beach and springs. He also spent time playing disc golf and billiards. He loved watching sports, and was a huge Chicago Cubs fan.Kyle is survived by his parents and younger brother Kevin Vickroy. He is also survived by two uncles, John and Jim, and two aunts, Karen and Jill.He is also survived by his beloved dog Rita, who was the light of his life.

It has been a long year for you both. I will always prayer that the courage that you both possess continues. I pray (in my own way) for all 3 of you every night and continue to hold you tightly in my heart and prayers. There will always be a Kyle sized hole in your hearts and only time begins to lightly soften the edges of that hole. I love you all.
