Diana Kaseman

Kathleen Kaseman, our beautiful, generous, and much-loved wife and mother, moved to heaven May 29, 2022. 
 
Diana Kathleen Kaseman was born January 20, 1943, in Bismarck, North Dakota, the daughter of Sidney and Amalia “Mollie” (Evans) Nielsen. She grew up on a dairy farm north of Mercer, North Dakota. She attended school and graduated with honors from Mercer High School in 1961. Kathleen continued her education at Bismarck Hospital School of Nursing and received her LPN certificate in 1963. She was working as a nurse at St. Alexis Hospital in Bismarck when she met Julius “Jim” Kaseman. She and Jim were married June 27, 1964, in Wishek, North Dakota. The couple had a wonderful life together, raising 5 children and traveling the world.
 
Kathleen loved her family and was most happy when she was together with them. Her heart’s desire was to see them living for Jesus and having their needs met. She will be remembered for her generosity, steadfast love and support of her husband, and her unwavering faith even in difficult circumstances.
 
She is survived by the love of her life, Jim Kaseman; three daughters and sons-in-law: Desiree and Elvis Wright, Tulsa, OK; Annette and Rod Rice, Willmar, MN; Tisha and Brian Mason, Tulsa, OK; son Daniel Kaseman, Willmar, MN; daughter-in-law Michele Kaseman; 12 grandchildren: Alyssa (Chris) Hutton, Jessica Wright, Julius (Megan) Rice, Briana (Brandon) Fitzgerald, Forrest (Katie) Rice, Myles (Samuelle) Neal, Reagan Rice, Hailey (Justin) Varble, Amaya Wright, Ginger Kaseman, Walker Rice, and Joshua Kaseman; 8 great-grandchildren: James Saffold; Liam Hutton; Minnie Fitzgerald; Lily, Jules, and Ben Rice; Keeva and Nelwyn Rice; siblings: Rosemarie (Mel) Dietz, Kirsten (Byrne) Limpert, LeRoy (Phyllis) Nielsen, and Lyndon (Janet) Nielsen.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Michael James and Jonathan James, granddaughter Emily Yake, and great-grandson Elling Rice.

  1. Kathleen will be greatly missed by her family. We have wonderful memories of a wonderful,beautiful, and generous lady. Our lives will be empty by her a absence from family gatherings but we will look forward to the great family gathering in heaven someday.
