Randy E. Smith

July 28, 1965 ~ October 3, 2022

Randy Earl Smith, 57, of Jacksonville FL, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2022.

Randy was born on July 28, 1965 in Memphis TN to William Henry Smith and Mary Sue Smith. He was raised in Gallipolis OH and after high school he moved to Little Rock AR.  He loved working on cars whether it was muscle cars in his school years or working as a mechanic later.

His life was filled with many different medical issues but more important is how God was always with him. He became a man who loved God and loved to serve his church, Calvary Worship Center, through eldership, ushering and building maintenance. He was so spiritually strong and loved his church family deeply.

He took great joy in doing some front porch sittin’ with his 2 dogs, Chip & Lei Lei.

Randy met his wife Debbi, 64 in Little Rock in 1987 and were married the same year and had 1 daughter, Sara Smith,33.

He is survived by 4 sisters, Barbara Grable, 68; Sandra Mull, 66; Kathy Boerner 65 (Gary); and Martha Jane Ellis, 60 (Mike).

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary and Granny Luvicie.

Crevasse's Simple Cremation is honored to serve the Smith family.

  18. Randy and Debbi have been a blessing to me from the first day I met them. Randy was a fighter and I believe he won the war, he is with God.

  19. I remember when you were 5 yrs old visiting the old apartment we had, then going through a few experiences with you the best part was seeing you ‘grow’ and create a loving family. Debbie was great for you and Sara is a sweetheart.

  20. Great childhood memories with Randy in his muscle car! A Chevy Nova I think.  Prayers of comfort and peace to the family.  Rest In Peace cousin.

  21. Randy your life was a testimony to the miraculous power of God. What an honor to have known you. I will forever remember the experiences that you shared about how God spoke to you and your obedience to his voice. You had such a beautiful knowing of His voice and His Presence- and now you're forever in His Presence! "Memories are a gift from God that death cannot destroy"
    Thanks for the memories!
