Edna "Penny" Francis Lewis
June 24, 1928 ~ November 17, 2022
On Thursday, November 17, 2022, Edna Francis Lewis (nee McDonald), daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away at the great age of 94 years. She was born on June 24, 1928 in Revere, Massachusetts to William and Alice McDonald. Edna (Penny) was the wife of Albert Sr. (d.). Married for almost five decades, their family includes Maggie (Tony), Al Jr. (Jaynie), Karen (Stewart), and William (Lani Jo). Her family also includes eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Penny’s life, spanning almost one century leaves an indelible mark on many hearts. She was a woman of simple pleasures who enjoyed being surrounded by loved ones, laughing, walking on the beach and feeling the sun shine on her face. She was never far from her rosary, carrying them in her handbag, pockets, and even slipping into eternity with a set in her hands. She joined her parents, husband, youngest son and granddaughter who went before her in this life into God’s care.
Eternal life grant unto her O LORD, and may Your perpetual light shine upon her.
