Paula Marjorie Foxx, a loving mother of two, passed away at the age of 61 on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Paula lived for her sons Thomas and John. Her greatest pride came from watching her boys grow into true men. Seeing them each find beautiful life partners and marry gave her complete joy.
Paula was an absolute beach lover. After raising her sons, she moved to Florida to be closer to it. This was her happy place. Paula was the youngest of five siblings and was known for her kindness and sense of humor. She was a true prankster. Paula was a solid friend, and devoted sister and aunt. Paula had a wonderful work family at Pruitt health where she served as Medical Records Director. She enjoyed her role and the supportive environment. Paula loved to read, swim, foster stay cats and spend time with friends and family. Paula is survived by her sons Thomas and John. A celebration of Paula’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that those who are able instead donate to The Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (click here) or Ally Cat Rescue (click here).

To my closest friend. I knew when you encouraged me to dance on a neighbors lawn from our ballet class, And getting in trouble for it, we would be friends for life. You were a sister to me for 52 yrs. Always there to listen and give the best advice, always kind and dry witted, there was. O one with your sense of humor! I cannot believe you have left the earth, but I already feel your spirit at work. I will miss you all the days of my life.
I miss you Aunt Paula, and I love you. I will continue to pray for your soul to find heaven. I pray that you are not scared in death, but free from from all the negative experiences of life. You are free to go home now. I miss you but will see you again.

To the amazing women I had the privilege to call my sister. Kind, generous, funny, devoted are a few of Paula's many qualities. She will be missed by many and forever by me. Love , your sister Susan
Paula was a shining star and a special friend. I was fortunate to have her in my life, and her passing is a tremendous loss. May those of us who loved her find comfort in this difficult time, and may Paula rest in peace. 💟☮️✝️
You were my very first friend in this world. You are my fondest memory from my youngest years. I always loved spending time with you, Susan and your family. My mother would always tell the story of the time we wondered into the Ferry's garage and apparently made quite a mess of things. It was then Mr Gaughan gave us the nicknames Death & Destruction and it stuck.
Thank you for being a special part of my life and for being the best first friend anyone could ask for. Sending love to the entire Leib family.
My name is Nicole Hargis – I worked with Paula for two years at Pruitt . we quickly bonded Becuase her sons were in the military and I had recently moved to FL with my husband on military order, as well as had sons. – … I had moved away over a year ago and I then connected with her about a week before her passing on Facebook (unknowing she had been sick….) I was initially shocked to here she was sick…and originally connected with her when I created my Facebook to catch up, as she always wanted me to keep in contact and share my journey as it reminder her of he boys…. I wanted to share my experience with her amazing soul and beautiful heart and make sure her sons knew how much she loved them … she would talk about her boys every day! Not a day went by she wouldn’t give me updates and share pictures and stories … she made me feel like home away from home as I had no family on the east coast … she had a beautiful honest heart and I pray her sons are at peace, knowing she loved them and would have given anything for them….
I Miss you Paula –
Love and prayer for her boys
