Judith Ann Henry passed away peacefully in Gainesville, Florida on November 15, 2022 surrounded by family. Judy was 80 years old and had a wonderful life. She is survived by her daughter Jessica, son-in-law Kenneth, and grandson Oscar of Chico, California; and her son Jonathan, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and grandsons Indiana and Felix of Gainesville, Florida.
Judy was born in New Castle, Indiana on April 11, 1942, a daughter of Charles and Lillian Wantz Gordon. Judy graduated from New Castle High School, “Cool as ice, strong as whiskey - we are the Class of 1960”. She earned her bachelor’s degree in medical technology at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi sorority. She lived for many years in Carmel, Indiana while raising her family. She worked as a medical technologist for Roche Diagnostics and retired after a long career.
Judy loved many things – her grandsons, family, friends, traveling the world, eating great food, going to the movies, museums, reading novels, reminiscing with her cousin Roberta, going to the Indianapolis 500, watching basketball, and sunsets.
