Died peacefully at Estelle’s Hospice House after a brief illness.
Born in Honolulu Hawaii to Edward and Ora Lee Garr, moving to Ocala Florida in 1965.
He is survived by sister Kathy Garr Wood, brothers Ed Garr Jr (Debbie) Thomas Garr (Bryn) and sister Mary Garr Ponder.
Also nieces Jennifer Stuart, Katie Penn and nephews Randal Ponder and Andrew Garr.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Ora Lee Garr and brother Michael.
John attended Forest High School and enjoyed skateboarding and watching NASCAR racing
John’s friends will honor him by taking his ashes to Hawaii to spread where he was born.

John was a unique young man. I think probably Mr. Shaw was waiting for him when he arrived. John was a challenge to Mr. 🐼Shaw. I think because john reminded him of himself when he was young. I’m sure he’s resting in the arms of Jesus tonight. Is waiting for.
Praying John that you’re resting in the arms of Jesus.
As a sidenote, Mr. Shaw was probably up there to greet you.
You reminded him a lot of himself when he was young. You were a special young man to him. You were a challenge.😊
