Jay D Upton

Upton, Jay D., 88 of Florida went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2023. He was born May 26, 1934 in Flint, MI to Albert and Margaret Brown.         He lived in Michigan, Indiana and New Jersey but has been in Florida over 50 years.

He was a Korean War Veteran and served in the Armed Forces as a Control Tower Operator. He told wonderful stories of owning a Tavern, working on a golf course and traveling. He enjoyed playing nickels and cards with his friends.

He is proceeded in death by his parents, brothers and wife, Ethel. He is survived by cousin Tammi, Pocius of Michigan, niece, Elizabeth Steele of NJ, brother, Al (Bonnie) Cieslak of Florida and good friends, Tim Fisher, Fred Burghardt and Marie Cieslak of Florida.
