Linda G. Ockerman

Linda G. (DeLoach) Ockerman passed peacefully on March 15, 2023 at home with family by her side.

Linda was born on January 10, 1951 in Savannah, GA to James L. DeLoach (deceased) and Annie L. DeLoach (deceased). She is survived by her husband of 45 years Randall Ockerman of Ocala, FL and her five children; Dannie Meadows (Linda) of West Bloomfield, MI, J. Vincent Meadows of Ocala, FL, Andrew Meadows (Hope) of Glennville, GA, Kathryn O. Collins of Ocala, FL, and Liane O. Jordy of Round Rock, TX. Linda was also a loving mother to Rebecca Stanley of Glennville, GA and R. Jason Booth of Avon, CT after their mother and father passed. She also leaves three sisters and three brothers; Rita Young (Gary) and Jamie DeLoach (Janice) both of Ludowici, GA, Angela Smith (Doug) of Newnan, GA, Karen Grant and Roy H. DeLoach Sr. both of New Market, AL, and R. Owen DeLoach of Jesup, GA.

She had a great capacity for love and kindness to whomever she came in contact with. Her favorite memories were being surrounded by as many of the 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren that she cherished. She was provided loving care at home by her family, nurses, nursing assistants and others from Hospice of Ocala Florida. A memorial will be held in private by the family.

I will be forever grateful for her and her love. There is no one in this world like her and never will be. She was one of the most important people in my life. She will be greatly missed.
