RIP Chief!

I am broken hearted over Marty's passing. I loved him very much. We spent many a times in the Persian Gulf sharing our goodies from home. He wouldalways give me 1/4 of the fruit cake from his fiance, I woulddo the same with the cake I would receive from my dad. I was the only one from over there to attend his wedding on January 1981 in Fort Meyers Fl. Rest in peace my Brother in arms, my Chief and my dear friend. I love you.
So sad about your passing. I always thought there would be more time to get to know you better. I knew you as a young child, but of course, you didn't remember that. We were family and I loved you as a brother.
My team were honored to award Marty a quilt of Valor before his passing. I knew him briefly and enjoyed talking with him. Marty was a good man. Thank you for your service and welcome home. Rest in peace.
We always had a great time. Thankyou for the memories, love u and Melanie
