Elma "Evelyn" Foerman Burt,79, passed away after a long five years battle with Alzheimer's on March 26, 2023 in Gainesville, Florida. She was born January 3, 1944 in Willacoohee, Georgia . Evelyn was the daughter of John William Foerman and Nancy Delma Touchton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Tammy Virginia Townsend, her brothers Charlie Erwin, Butler Henry, Noah Martin, David Edward and sister Mary Annie. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Lynn Townsend Weber, her son George Edward Townsend JR, her brother Roy Earl, sister Emma Patricia and 3 grandchildren Nathaniel Blaine Weber, Virginia Leigh Weber and Evelyn Katie Townsend(Evey).
In life some of the things Evelyn enjoyed were gardening, reading, cooking, traveling and being with Family and Friends.
