Michael Joseph Langlois, 53, of Morriston, Florida, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 28, 2023. Born on Thursday, March 26, 1970, in Fayetteville, NC to Ronald and Barbara Langlois, Michael spent most of his childhood in central Florida. Michael attended Crystal River High School, where he developed a deep affinity for reading that he would carry with him throughout his life. In addition to being an avid reader, Michael enjoyed the peace of Florida’s beautiful waters, escaping on occasion to fish, explore and reflect, in the spirit of literary heroes such as Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer.
Michael worked in a supervisory role for ThemeWorks, Inc., in High Springs, Florida, for more than ten years. His work was integral to the creation and fabrication of artwork commissioned by theme parks, museums, zoos, and other attractions in Florida and around the world. He was a dedicated and highly respected member of the ThemeWorks team.
Michael is survived by his adoring wife of 28 years, Jamie Lynn Langlois, daughter, Mikenzi Jade, and son, Zachary Michael. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Barbara and Victor Hernandez, brother Charles Langlois and sister Ronda Kulas, as well as a large, loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Michael was predeceased by his father, Ronald Langlois and infant son, Michael RJ Langlois.

You are not here, yet you are. We cannot see you, yet we can feel you. We love you and miss you so very much. You were your own person, and had your own opinions, which you would defend against anyone. We didn't always agree with you, but we always loved you. You are missed. Rest in Peace my beautiful son.
