Dorothy May Garrison

Dorothy May Garrison, 97, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on April 30, 2023.

Dorothy was born to Edna Mae Hopwood and Jesse Sanford in Stuart, Florida, on July 26, 1925.  She loved to read, to sew and create beautiful quilts, and to work puzzles. She was dearly loved by her family, including her sons, Luke and Grant, and her sister, Bettie Hesse, who preceded her in death. She leaves behind her daughter, Dona Kerlin, and daughter-in-law, Kay Garrison. She is also survived by her grandsons, Travis Garrison and Christopher Bentzien, and her nieces, Lonna Powell, Kris Loftis, Jan Lain, and Stacey Schimpf, and nephew, John Hesse, and their children.
