Alan Barry Oshinsky, 69, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on May 1, 2023 from Covid.
He was born February 9, 1954 in Brooklyn, New York. He was the son of the late Reuben and Sarah (Cohen) Oshinsky. (Mom’s Knishes).
He is survived by his longtime companion Glenda Gillespie, Kevin Henderson (Crystal) and her 2 children, sister Dara Deitz (Kenneth), 2 nieces Jacqueline Brooks (Adam) and their daughter Sadie, Roni Kaatz (Joel) also a very special friend Elena Palma.
Alan also loved sports, especially the Yankees.
The family will hold a memorial service in New Jersey at a later date.
You are so loved and missed.

Alan and I knew each other for many many years. Alan a yankee fan and myself a Mets fan. We always had good things to say. He was a very special person and I am very lucky to of known him. Please Alan rest in peace. Say hello to Ruby your dad who is known to be the biggest Canarsie Icon. .
